Event Objective and Proceedings The primary goal of the Practice Day was to provide insight into a modern, integrated dairy production process, emphasizing the role of digitalization in increasing efficiency. The event gathered industry professionals and stakeholders to witness firsthand how data transforms traditional production into an innovative and competitive ecosystem.
The day began with an address by Board Member Jānis Šulcs, who emphasized the safety and quality standards that serve as the foundation for all technological growth.
Key Insights and Knowledge Gained During the event, participants gained a deeper understanding of several critical digitalization aspects:
1. Integrated Supply Chain and Data Sales Manager Ivo Apenītis introduced the Straupe dairy supply chain model. The key takeaway: digitalization is not just about "replacing paper with a computer," but the ability to create new services based on real-time data.

4. Unified Data Flow A workshop led by Sandis Veitmanis analyzed the interaction between logistics and data. It was concluded that a unified data flow between production, warehousing, and logistics is the only way to respond promptly to market demand changes and develop new products.
Conclusions and Event Evaluation The event took place in a highly productive and open atmosphere. During the discussion session, participants acknowledged that the experience of "Straupes piens" is an excellent example of how a regional company can successfully implement high-level technology.
